SafePin is an ingenious and reliable keeper of PIN codes for credit cards. The digits are saved in coloured segments in a matrix. Only you know the principle as how the PIN code is hidden in the matrix. You can find a PIN code at a glance without attracting someone’s attention. SafePin is quick and easy to use which serves you a big plus to safely refer to it in the public. Should your phone be maliciously misused, all the PIN codes remain fully safe.

How to hide my PIN code

SafePin offers you a colourful 6x7 segmented matrix. Select the principle you want to hide the PIN code:

• Write the code digits into the segments of a preferable colour.
• Write the code in a preferable location (in the upper-right corner, for example).

Beneficial features

• Possibility to hide PIN codes of any length.
• Use standard templates or take a photo for a card.
• Add a card number to the saved credit card.
• Add a Bank Call Centre Tel number to the saved credit card.

Pros and cons of SafePin app for iPhone and iPad

SafePin app good for

Extremely easy to use, smart approach to recall your pin code for any number of your cards. Also a phone for card blocking, etc. is stored in card info.
SafePin does not work with iOS8. Correct the application, it is impossible to enter the date of the credit card.

Some bad moments

It does what it says, and its simple to use, and very convenient. However, there is one MAJOR flaw that really needs to be fixed. There is no true pass code for getting into the app itself. None! This means if you photo your cards or even if you dont, but type in the info onto a template, you can instantly see all your private info.... If you click on a card, the pass code screen comes up, so it appears as if you are blocked from access... Wrong! Pick a number!! Any number! Bam, youre in! Does anyone else see a problem with this? I do! This should be an easy fix, so I hope they fix it. To edit and save, you do have to enter the correct pass code. , however, if a crook gets the info, they arent going to want to edit the numbers! Next flaw is minor and again, should be an easy fix. There should be an option for the card name and banner to be optional in the case of an actual photo being taken. If the template card option is chosen, I understand the need for a name and banner.. Overall, I LOVE the IDEA, the EASE, and the many colorful options, and the option to take an actual photo. This app is exactly what I was looking for. However, identity theft and bank theft are an ever present danger. I chose this app to have quick access in case my cards did get stolen, or for a fast and convenient way to do online shopping without always having to carry my cards in my purse. With the security problems of this "purchased" app, I dropped this to a 3... It deserves a 1 or 2, but I truly applaud the idea and hope that this review will be heard. This app has great potential, and had the security feature been tighter, I would have paid up to $3.00 and rated it a 5. As of now, Im not sure it was worth the .99 that I paid. Needs tweaking...
It works but totally in secure! Without any password protection why would I load bank cards
